Senior Director, Product at Career Karma

Kari D'Elia is currently the Senior Director of Product at Career Karma. Prior to this, they spent three years at Nike as the Director of Product for Digital Activity Apps. There, they led the platform and core experience strategy for Nike's two industry-defining digital fitness apps: Nike Run Club and Nike Training Club. Together with their team, they empowered millions of athletes around the world to make sport a daily habit.

Before their time at Nike, Kari spent four years at TripAdvisor as the Director of Core Experience Product. There, they set the product vision, assembled cross-functional teams, and empowered them to ship products that improved on the travel planning and in-destination use case. Kari also led the Find and Discover team, charged with leveraging machine learning, data science, and search UX to ensure TripAdvisor users could always find what they were looking for, and discover amazing hotels, restaurants, and experiences along the way.

Kari has always been driven by their passion to empower people through technology and product innovation. Throughout their career, they have been able to use their skills in product management, strategy, and leadership to create products that have had a positive impact on the lives of millions of people around the world.

Kari D'Elia has an MBA in Sport Management from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and a MS in Sport Management from the same school. Kari also has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
