Shikela Hampton

Shikela Hampton is an experienced education professional and volunteer with a diverse background in early childhood education and community service. Currently serving as a Teacher Assistant at Precious Memories IV since October 2017, Shikela contributes to classroom management and the development of children's readiness for kindergarten. In addition, Shikela has been actively involved with Kaplan's Autism Speaks program since January 2015, and has volunteered with the Red Cross and the Thomas Merton Center/St. Stephens Food Pantry to support individuals in need. Shikela's previous roles include providing childcare and support in various capacities, such as a floater at HallWay Neighborhood House and a caregiver at Care Around the Clock. Shikela holds a Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Housatonic Community College, complemented by ongoing studies at Kaplan University.
