Alexander Grun

Alexander Grun has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in data analytics, research, and internships. Alexander started their career as an intern at UniCredit, Sberbank, and Statoil. Later, they worked as a Junior Research Assistant at Lappeenranta University of Technology and then became a Researcher/PhD Candidate at Hanken. Following this, they worked as a Data Analyst at MaaS Global Oy and as a Mentor at Data Analytics Career Track at Springboard. Currently, Alexander is employed at Nordea, where they initially served as a Senior Analyst and then transitioned to the role of Chief Analyst. Additionally, they will be joining Careerist as the Lead Course Designer for Data Analytics in the near future.

Alexander Grun has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Hanken School of Economics. Alexander also holds a Master's degree in Strategy, Innovation, and Sustainability from LUT University and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management from Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg State University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various fields such as dbt Fundamentals, DBT, Apache Airflow Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Introduction to Web Development and Programming, and more.
