Cynthia (Giffi) Wilt

Cynthia (Giffi) Wilt has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Cynthia has served as a Sr Career Coach at Careerminds since 2023. Prior to that, from 2005 to the present, Cynthia has been the Career Coach/Owner at Resumes4U, where they taught courses on job search and retirement/business startup, designed resumes and LinkedIn profiles, and provided coaching sessions on various life changes and retirement planning.

From 2014 to 2023, Cynthia worked as a Senior Career Coach at CareerCurve, where they guided clients in transition and helped them make logical and well-planned decisions for their future.

From 2011 to 2018, they were the Co-Founder and Partner of 2nd Stage Institute at Career Transition Center, where they managed all administration, designed curriculum, and marketed the program. Cynthia also founded and managed a nonprofit organization in the Greater Cleveland area, partnering with libraries and other organizations to support individuals during job transition and career change.

Earlier in their career, Cynthia served as a Career Consultant at CGI from 1999 to 2010, where they provided career management services to clients at all levels. Cynthia also instructed workshops and wrote curriculum.

Before that, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Akron from 1995 to 1998 and at Kent State University from 1991 to 1994.

Cynthia also has experience as a Human Resource Manager for LAWSON MARDON GROUP INTERNATIONAL Ltd - Celloglas Div., where they managed HR functions, including plant start-ups, hiring, benefits, training, and outplacement.

Cynthia began their career as an OD Consultant in a freelance capacity from 1987 to 1990 and also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Cuyahoga Community College from 1980 to 1988.

Cynthia (Giffi) Wilt attended Garfield Hts High, where they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Cynthia then went on to Bowling Green State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Organization Development. Additionally, Cynthia pursued further education at Bowling Green State University and earned a Master's degree in Organization Development (MOD).
