Wunmi Adekanmbi

Wunmi Adekanmbi, MSc., PMP, and Prosci, serves as the Executive Director and Founder of Immigrant Techies Alberta, a group dedicated to supporting skilled immigrants in transitioning to tech careers and startups. Currently a Consultant at QMConsult, and the Director of Innovation and Strategy at ReSkill Calgary, Wunmi specializes in Agile coaching and software product development to harness immigrant tech talent. As an Advisor for Careers In Technology and Innovation, Wunmi plays a key role in advancing digital transformation strategies at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), where Wunmi held positions as Lead, Operations and Strategy, and Digital Catalyst. Additionally, Wunmi hosted the Rainforest Alberta podcast, promoting innovation within the ecosystem. Previous experience includes customer experience design at Bureau Veritas Group and project management roles at Maxxam Analytics, complemented by a robust academic background spanning applied product management, instructional design, and biochemistry.
