Alecia Cooke

Alecia Cooke, CPC, AHFI, HCAFA, currently serves as the Manager of Healthcare Policy at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of corporate medical policies and facilitating coverage requests for new medical technologies. Previous roles include Supervisor of the Special Investigations Unit at CareFirst and Kaiser Permanente, focusing on investigations of fraud and complaint resolution. Alecia has an extensive background with Blue Cross NC, holding various leadership positions that emphasized compliance, service quality, and investigations. Alecia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from North Carolina Wesleyan University and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Maryland.
