Sheila Yahyazadeh

Sheila Yahyazadeh, MPA, PMP, is the Chief External Operations Officer at CareFirst Community Health Plan Maryland, specializing in Medicaid strategy and growth, community development, and policy implementation since November 2021. In addition to current roles at American University as a Board Member and at Primary Venture Partners as an Expert, Sheila has an extensive background in healthcare strategy and policy, including leadership positions at ICF Next and KPMG US, where notable work involved the implementation of the DATA Act. Previous experience includes consultancy for the World Food Programme, health policy fellowships, and research roles, complemented by a robust educational background with degrees from Harvard Business School and American University.
