Medical Director, Careflight Rapid Response Helicopter at Careflight

Dr. Chris Cheeseman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Dr Chris started their career as a Registrar in the Emergency Department at Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust in 2005. Dr Chris then worked as a Registrar in the Emergency Department at Toowoomba Base Hospital from 2006 to 2010. In 2007, they joined CareFlight Group Queensland as a Retrieval Doctor until 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they served as a Registrar in the Emergency Department at Westmead Hospital. In 2013, they became a Retrieval Specialist at CareFlight and held this role until 2014. Starting from 2016, they have been working at both Westmead Hospital and Nepean Hospital as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine and Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine, respectively. Finally, since September 2020, Dr. Chris Cheeseman has been serving as the Medical Director of the CareFlight Rapid Response Helicopter.

Dr Chris Cheeseman attended the University of Birmingham from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained their MBChB degree in Medicine. Prior to that, they attended Graham Balfour High School in Stafford, UK, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
