Candice AD Smith

Candice AD Smith has over 25 years of work experience in the fields of development, advancement, and technology. Candice AD. began their career in 1994 as the Assistant Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations at the University of Portland. In 1996, they moved to Reed College as the Director of Information Resources & Prospect Management. In 2001, they became the Director of Development at Willamette University. In 2003, they joined Lewis & Clark College as the Director of Annual Giving & Advancement Operations. In 2010, they began working at The Women’s College within The University of Queensland as the Advancement Director. In 2015, they became the Director of Development at the French American International School. In 2017, Smith founded and became the Director of Caregiven, Inc., a comprehensive care support app designed to assist informal caregivers. Candice AD. also assumed the role of Founder & CEO and generated nearly $750,000 in pre-seed funding and grants from institutional investors and partners.
