Daniel Brown is a seasoned professional in the field of data science and biostatistics, currently serving as a Principal Machine Learning Scientist at Carelon since October 2021. Previously, Daniel held roles as a Data Scientist at Contra Costa Health Services and Apple, and worked as a Research Data Analyst and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health. Daniel's expertise includes epidemiologic analyses utilizing advanced statistical techniques and consultation on statistical procedures. Earlier experience includes serving as an Epidemiologist at San Mateo County Health System and NYC DOHMH, focusing on public health surveillance and evaluation of health initiatives.
