Martín Lozano

Martín Lozano has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in content editing, translation, voice acting, writing, and education. Martín currently works as a Content Editor/Translator at CareMessage, where they are responsible for editing and translating content. Prior to this, they were employed by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) as a Translator/Editor.

In their earlier career, Martín worked at Zone Recording Studio as a Voice Actor, recording voiceovers for public health campaigns and audiobooks. Martín also served as a Spanish Content Specialist at Bixal, collaborating with federal agencies to deliver customer-oriented experiences in both English and Spanish.

Martín's experience includes serving as a Health Literacy Writer at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, where they wrote and edited health education literature. Martín also worked as a Bilingual Copy Writer/Editor at Kaiser Permanente, transcreating educational health content and handling marketing communications.

Martín had their own business, Aguila Consultores, where they provided writing, editing, and marketing services to help businesses overcome language and cultural barriers. Martín also worked as a Model and Actor at SF Casting Talent Agency.

Additionally, Martín had experience as a Spanish Instructor at Tamalpais Union High School District, teaching the language. Martín also served as a Radio Personality at Multicultural Radio Broadcasting, Inc., where they wrote, edited, and translated news, conducted interviews and commentaries, and hosted call-in shows.

Martín Lozano obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Journalism from the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. In 2010, they attended Aeroventure Flight School to earn a Private Pilot degree in Aviation, completing their studies in 2011. Additionally, Martín holds several certifications, including being a Certified Translator from the American Translators Association, which they obtained in June 2019. Martín is also a Private Aircraft Pilot certified by the Federal Aviation Administration, achieving this certification in August 2015. Furthermore, Martín has an ESET Cyber Security Awareness Training Certificate from ESET North America, which they obtained in July 2022.
