Pete Weiland

Pete Weiland has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Pete is currently the Sr. Director - Business Process at CareMetx, LLC since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President - Process Improvement at FirstKey Homes from February 2021 to January 2023. From February 2010 to February 2021, Pete served as the Sr. Director - Business Quality & Process Improvement at McKesson where they implemented process improvement initiatives and quality management systems. Pete also led the initiation of the Software Development Project Management Office. Before that, Pete had a long tenure at Delta Air Lines, where they held several roles of increasing responsibility including Vice President - Aviation Services - DGS and Director - ACS Field Support. In these roles, they oversaw airport ground handling operations, customer service policies, continuous improvement, and resource planning among other responsibilities. Overall, Pete Weiland has a strong background in process improvement, quality management, and operations leadership.

Pete Weiland earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1988. Pete later completed a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution between 2001 and 2006. Prior to their university education, Pete attended Walton High School. Pete also obtained additional certifications, including "Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence" from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2016 and "Master Black Belt" from McKesson in 2014.
