Gaurav Bhatia

Gaurav Bhatia has a diverse work experience in various companies and positions. Gaurav is currently serving as the Chief Data Scientist at CareMore Health since April 2020 and at Aspire Health, Inc. since January 2020. Previously, they worked as a Data Scientist (VP) at Two Sigma from March 2018 to January 2020 and as the Chief Data Scientist at Koneksa Health from September 2016 to March 2018. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow/Grad Student at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from June 2010 to September 2016. Gaurav also worked as a Graduate Student at UC San Diego from June 2008 to September 2009 and as a Lead Software Engineer at app2you from June 2006 to April 2008. Gaurav started their career as a Software Design Engineer Intern at Microsoft in May 2005.

Gaurav Bhatia's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at UC San Diego, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2006. Following that, they pursued further education at UC San Diego, obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2009. From 2009 to 2014, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology.
