Yvonne Medock

Yvonne Medock has extensive experience in the field of nursing, with a particular focus on family and women's health. Yvonne began their career at LAC/USC Medical Center as a Staff Nurse in the Women's and Children's Hospital. Yvonne then worked at St. Luke Medical Center as a Charge Nurse and later as an Assistant Unit Director in the Maternal Child Health department. Yvonne also served as a Nurse Practitioner at various organizations, including East Los Angeles Health Task Force, California Prenatal Medical Group, Sierra Madre Community Medical Group, and Mother and Child Health Center. At these clinics, they provided assessments and treatments to patients, with a heavy emphasis on chronic disease management, such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity, as well as family planning services. Yvonne also gained experience in occupational health at Methodist Hospital of Southern California, where they provided physicals, screenings, and primary care for hospital employees and affiliated organizations. Yvonne then joined Molina Healthcare as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where they focused on the assessment and management of underserved and vulnerable patient populations. Yvonne's most recent position is at CareMore Health, where they work as a Lead Nurse Practitioner.

Yvonne Medock began their education in nursing at the LAC/USC School of Nursing, where they obtained a Diploma in Nursing from 1989 to 1991. Yvonne furthered their nursing education at Mount St. Mary's College from 1993 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.). Yvonne Medock then pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) from California State University, Long Beach, completing their studies from 1998 to 2000.
