Vitalia Brooks

Vitalia Brooks is currently the Language Access Program Manager at CareOregon, a position held since September 2022. Vitalia also serves as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Maitripa College since January 2017. Previous roles include Spiritual Care Counselor at Housecall Providers from April 2019 to September 2022, Spiritual Care and Bereavement Coordinator at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care (September 2014 - April 2019), and Hospice Chaplain at Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research (August 2012 - June 2014). Vitalia's experience in spiritual care began with roles as a Chaplain at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center (May 2011 - 2012) and Providence Home Health and Hospice (August 2008 - 2010). Before that, Vitalia worked as Admissions/Maitri Coordinator at Naropa University (2006 - 2008) and as a Refugee Resettlement Specialist at Ecumenical Refugee Services (September 2003 - June 2007). Vitalia holds a Master of Divinity in Religious Studies from Naropa University, a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Aurora Institute, and dual bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Philosophy from the University of Oregon.
