Derek Nye

Derek Nye has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Derek is currently the Director of Operations at CarePoint Health, starting in September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Radiology Imaging Associates / Invision Sally Jobe as the Director of RIA Endovascular from August 2020 to September 2021 and as a Practice Manager from January 2018 to August 2020. At HealthONE, they held various positions including Assistant Director of Medical Imaging from May 2016 to January 2018, Outpatient Services Manager/Assistant Director of Patient Navigation from March 2013 to May 2016, and Physician Navigation Coordinator from May 2012 to February 2013. Derek also had an internship in healthcare administration and worked as a Clinical Rehab Aide during their time at HealthONE. Additionally, Derek Nye was a Clinical Communications Specialist at United BioSource Corporation from October 2008 to August 2009.

Derek Nye has a strong background in education, with multiple degrees in various fields. Derek first attended The University of Kansas from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) with a focus on Sport Science. In 2010, they enrolled at Regis University, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, which they successfully completed in 2012. During this time, Derek also earned a second Master's degree in Business Administration from Regis University in the same field of study.
