Dan Ogren

Head of Design at Careswitch

Dan Ogren has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Dan is currently serving as the Head of Design at Careswitch, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Rappora, which was later acquired by Careswitch, where they served as a Co-Founder and Designer from September 2014 to October 2020. In this role, they led the visual communication and user experience design for all digital properties of the company.

Before joining Careswitch, Dan worked at frog, a global design and strategy firm. Dan held various roles at frog, starting as a Design Consultant in October 2018, then as a Senior Visual Designer from December 2018 to July 2020, and finally as an Associate Design Director from July 2020 to September 2020.

Dan also gained experience at IBM, where they served as a Product Designer from July 2013 to September 2014. Dan was part of the team that opened the first IBM Design Studio in Austin, TX, and they contributed to improving workflow for IT Administrators. Dan also championed IBM Design Thinking by leading workshops and activities, as well as participating in recruiting efforts.

Additionally, Dan had an internship experience at adidas in 2012, where they worked on various projects such as NBA uniforms, NCAA Basketball and Football uniforms, adidas Running graphics, and a logo for Robert Griffin III. During their internship, they also collaborated with two other interns on a self-selected project.

Throughout their career, Dan Ogren has demonstrated expertise in design and has held leadership positions, contributing to the success of the organizations they have worked for.

Dan Ogren attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2008 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design. Dan'sfield of study was specifically focused on Graphic Design.
