Kevin Farinholt

Kevin Farinholt has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Kevin most recently served as a Senior Data Scientist at Caretaker Medical, a company specializing in wireless hemodynamic monitoring. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Fellow at Luna Labs USA from December 2021 to April 2023. From December 2013 to March 2022, they held the position of Senior Research Engineer at Luna Innovations Incorporated. Before joining Luna Innovations, Kevin was the Manager of Manufacturing Systems R&D at Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing from July 2012 to November 2013. Kevin also worked as a Technical Staff Member and Research Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory from April 2007 to July 2012. Early in their career, they served as a Research Scientist at NanoSonic Inc. from June 2003 to June 2007.

Kevin Farinholt completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Engineering from Piedmont Virginia Community College from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 2001 to 2005.
