The Opportunity

Glenmore Park is a continuing care facility that has a 93 bed Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program (RCTP) unit, 34 bed Musculoskeletal Unit (MSK) unit, a 20 bed Geriatric Mental Health Unit. This diverse site is looking for an individual that is interested in joining a dynamic team and that thrives in an enviorment that looks to enhance the qaulity of care for our residents, clients and families.

This is a leadership position providing direction, coordination and oversight to the Site's day to day activities. Key accountabilities include; coordination of calendars, events, assistance in preparing audit compliance reports, organization of reception positions, preparing payroll, processing financial transactions, track and maintain detailed internal and external audit information.

This position requires a high level of acumen with computer software and the ability to find solutions to issues in an electronic platform. As part of the leadership team, this position is also responsible for site wide communication, preparing expenditures, statistical reports, assisting in presentation, and project and event planning.

Position Details:

Bi-weekly Hours: 77.50 FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0800-1615 Union: Non Union Professional Rate of Pay: According to qualifications and experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Recognized certificate/diploma in Office/Business Administration required or in progress.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Medical Terminology preferred.
  • Past experience as a portfolio or site secretary within healthcare.
  • Preferable to have minimum 5 years of senior administrative experience required.
  • Advanced computer skills required.
  • This position requires high attention to detail, initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision and adherence to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are required.
  • Process Improvement and change management courses an asset.
