Carole Harvey is an experienced professional in the fields of social work and behavioral health, currently serving as a Community Instructor at The Ohio State University since August 2013, where courses on Program/Policy Evaluation and master-level topics related to substance abuse and mental health are taught. Carole also works as a Behavioral Health Surveyor for CARF International, offering accreditation reviews and improvement recommendations, and serves as a Therapeutic Community Consultant and researcher for CompDrug, focusing on program enhancement for corrections-based therapeutic communities across Ohio. Prior roles include Chief Compliance Officer at Amethyst, Inc., responsible for quality improvement and grant management in addiction and mental health treatment, and Program Director at West Central Community Correctional Facility, where leadership was provided for services within a therapeutic community program. Carole earned a Ph.D. in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
