Mark Portofe

Mark Portofe is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in platform engineering and project management. Currently serving as Director of Platform Engineering at CARFAX since December 2015, Mark manages a diverse team focused on the full software development life cycle for web and mobile applications, particularly in AWS and PCI-compliant environments. Previously, as Senior Director at The College Board, Mark oversaw a significant IT assessment redesign project and managed various mission-critical systems. Other roles include Director of Consulting at CGI-AMS, where Mark managed a substantial budget and staff for a federal ERP product, and positions at American Management Systems, where Mark excelled in project and release management. Mark holds a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from Kent State University.
