Zoey McDonald

Zoey McDonald is an experienced Automation Engineer currently leading automation support for Project Surfer at Cargill since March 2023. Previously, McDonald worked at ESCO Group from February 2019 to February 2023, where roles included Automation Engineer, Automation Specialist, Software Developer, and Electrical Design Associate, focusing on VFD configuration, PLC programming, and electrical schematic editing using AutoCAD. Earlier experiences include an AEI Intern position at Cargill, gaining familiarity with P&IDs and virtual machines, and a managerial role as Head Cashier at Menards. McDonald holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Mount Mercy University and an Associate of Science from Kirkwood Community College, complemented by a high school diploma from Linn-Mar High School.
