Jessie Anne Bumgarner has over 10 years of experience in marketing and business development. Jessie Anne began their career in 2010 as a Youth Intern at First Presbyterian of Boone and a Traffic and Continuity Director and On-Air Talent at WASU. In 2011, they took on a role as a Public Relations Intern at Watauga County Habitat for Humanity. In 2012, they became a Business Development Specialist at Curtis Media - Foothills Radio Group, and in 2013, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator at ELK Products, Inc. From 2015 to 2017, Bumgarner held a role as a Marketing Content Manager at Sona Medspa, where they managed and negotiated traditional media buying, oversaw a multi-million dollar advertising budget, wrote and produced radio and TV commercials, and managed online reputation. In 2017, they took on a role as a Marketing Campaign Manager at AvidXchange, Inc., where they built a holistic approach to revenue marketing, managed and executed multi-channel inbound and outbound marketing campaigns, conducted campaign testing, and collaborated with various departments. In 2021, they began working as a Demand Generation Manager at DocuPhase and a Director of Marketing at Cargo Chief.
Jessie Anne Bumgarner attended Appalachian State University from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a degree in Public Relations with a focus on Marketing. In 2011, they also attended Kellar Radio Talent Institute and obtained a Certified Radio Marketing Professional by RAB. In 2020, they earned a Digital Marketing Certificate from Digital Marketing at USF. Additionally, they have certifications in Content Marketing, Email Marketing, and Hubspot Inbound from HubSpot Academy.
