Anissa Irwin has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Anissa is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Quality Operations and Systems at CARGO Therapeutics since February 2023. Anissa Irwin earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Anissa then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Executive Management and Healthcare from the University of La Verne, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their degrees, Anissa Irwin also obtained a certification in "Preventing Workplace Harassment" from Emtrain in November 2018.
