Mark Boehmer has an extensive work experience in the apparel and outdoor industry. Mark started their career in 1998 as a Production Coordinator at Marmot Mountain. Mark then worked at Eastern Mountain Sports as a Sourcing and Production Manager from 1999 to 2004. After that, they joined Columbia Sportswear as a Materials Researcher for a year. Mark then worked at Wolverine World Wide as a Materials Manager for Merrell Apparel from 2005 to 2008. Mark then served as the Vice President of Advanced Fabrics and Development at Nano-Tex from 2008 to 2010. Following that, they worked at Carhartt as a Senior Sourcing Manager in 2011. Mark also had a role as a Product Manager at Dick's Sporting Goods from 2011 to 2013. Mark then joined Terramar Sports as the Vice President of Product and Business Development from 2013 to 2015. Since 2015, they have been associated with Carhartt, initially as a Director of Strategic Sourcing and currently serving as the Vice President of Sourcing, Asia. Additionally, they worked as a Ski Instructor at Vail Resorts in 2017.
Mark Boehmer holds a BS in Outdoor Education from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained between 1990 and 1995. Mark also attended Saint Thomas Academy from 1984 to 1988 to complete their high school education. Recently, Mark obtained an Outdoor Industry Business Certificate in Sustainable Product Design and Supply Chain from Utah State University in 2022. Mark also received a certification in Sustainable Product Design and Supply Chain from the Outdoor Industry Association in the same year.
