Michel Bensel

Michel Bensel currently serves as SVP and Head of Interior, Infotainment & Digital Experience at CARIAD, leading the development of a superior user experience for all Volkswagen Group brands worldwide. Previously, Michel held the role of SVP and Head of Digital Business & Mobility Services, overseeing extensive digital initiatives, and served as VP and Head of Mobility & Connected Services, where the focus was on establishing significant solutions within a scaled agile framework. Michel's experience also includes leadership positions at Volkswagen of America, Inc., where new sales strategies were established for the North American market, and at Volkswagen AG, driving pivotal transformation initiatives. Prior roles include project management at Volkswagen Consulting and military service in the German Federal Armed Forces. Michel holds a doctorate in political science from the University of Potsdam and a degree in business administration from the University of Federal Armed Forces Munich.
