Niklas Bohne

Niklas Bohne is a software engineer specializing in sensor fusion at CARIAD since July 2021, where expertise includes integrating and calibrating in-cabin sensors within a ROS-based system and developing production-ready C++ code from Python prototypes. Prior experience includes a role as a development engineer at Porsche, where implementation of Simulink models and programming of communication interfaces for vehicle simulation took place. Earlier, at ArianeGroup, Niklas conducted thermodynamic analysis and developed interfaces in the SIMULIA Isight software environment. Additionally, experience at Airbus Defence and Space involved automating input extraction and optimizing algorithms for a correlation tool in MATLAB. Niklas holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bremen and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from HSB Hochschule Bremen.
