Dr. Mark F. Sami

Dr. Mark F. Sami, with extensive qualifications including a DBA, MSc, FCCA, CPA, CGA, and BSc, serves as the Director of Corporate Services and Financial Controller at the Caribbean Public Health Agency since June 2016. Previous experience includes roles as Finance Officer at the Office of Trade Negotiations (OTN) within the CARICOM Secretariat and Internal Audit Manager at Guyana Power & Light Inc., where oversight of a 20-person internal audit department was key. Dr. Sami has also contributed as Deputy Team Leader for the USAID/GHARP Project, Finance Controller for Mazaruni Granite Products Inc., and Senior Auditor/Accountant at Maurice Solomon & Company. Educational achievements include a DBA in Project Management & Accounting from Walden University and multiple certifications in accounting from prestigious institutions.
