Ann Mead

Ann Mead has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ann is currently working as the Sr. Director of Human Resources at Caribou Biosciences since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations at Nanosyn from January 2020 to June 2022. From October 2018 to October 2019, they worked as a Senior Consultant at RubrYc Therapeutics, Inc. Ann also held the position of Head of Corporate Administration at Allysta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from April 2016 to September 2019. Before that, they served as the Director of Operations at BayBio from May 2011 to June 2015. From February 2008 to March 2010, they worked as the Senior Director of Administration at Medivation. Ann also has experience as the VP Administration at Corra Life Sciences from 2006 to 2008. Ann began their career at Bank of America as the Vice President of Capital Markets from January 1988 to January 1999.

Ann Mead has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comp Lit and Russian Language from the University of California, Berkeley. Ann also holds a Master of Science degree in Foreign Service, International Business Diplomacy from Georgetown University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in "From the Laboratory to Leadership" from The Leadership Edge, with the year of attainment being 2023. Prior to their higher education, Ann Mead attended Fremont High School.
