Elizabeth Garner

Elizabeth Garner has extensive experience in the field of molecular biology and T cell therapeutics. Since September 2015, Elizabeth has held multiple leadership roles at Caribou Biosciences, currently serving as the Executive Director of T Cell Therapeutics and Translational Sciences Laboratory, following positions as Senior Director, Director, Associate Director, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist in T cell therapeutics. Prior to this, Elizabeth was a Postdoctoral Associate at The Rockefeller University from November 2010 to August 2015, where significant contributions included in vivo characterization of nucleases and genome-wide siRNA screening. Elizabeth also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Cancer Research UK and worked as a Research Assistant at Breast Cancer Now. Educational credentials include a PhD in Molecular Biology from the National Institute of Medical Research and a BSc in Molecular Biology from Imperial College London.
