Charles Carter

Charles (C.J.) Carter, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Charles (C.J.) is currently serving as the Investment Operations & Risk Director at Carilion Clinic since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, Investment Advisory at LOCUS Impact Investing from May 2018 to February 2022.

C.J. also has an academic background as an Adjunct Instructor at Virginia Tech from January 2015 to May 2018. In addition, they have significant experience in the banking and financial sector. Charles (C.J.) worked at First Bank and Trust as the Wealth Management Manager from October 2015 to April 2018. Before that, they were a Portfolio Manager at the same organization from November 2011 to October 2015.
