Elizabeth Myers has a diverse work background in the healthcare field. Elizabeth started their career at Tazewell Community Hospital in 1990 as a Staff Technologist, where they worked until 1995. During this time, they gained experience in radiology. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as a Mammographer at Western Virginia Community Health Service. In 1996, they transitioned to the role of Radiography Instructor at Bluefield State College, where they stayed until 1998. Elizabeth then joined Clinch Valley Medical Center as a Radiologic Technologist from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, they became the Imaging Director at Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital and has been in that role ever since. In 2017, they also took on the position of Patient Experience Team Lead at Carilion Clinic.
Elizabeth Myers, MHA, BS, RT-R(M) holds a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree from Jefferson College of Health Sciences. Elizabeth also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Sciences from Old Dominion University. In addition, they have an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Radiography from Southwest Virginia Community College.
