Heather Davenport

Heather Davenport has over 15 years of work experience in various roles in the field of human resources. Heather currently works as an adjunct professor at Roanoke College since 2018. Before that, they worked at Carilion Clinic, where they held positions such as Vice President of Human Resources, Senior Director of Human Resources, and Director of Total Rewards between 2010 and 2013. Prior to Carilion Clinic, they worked at Carilion as a Manager of Benefits and Benefits Specialist from 2006 to 2010. Their early work experience includes a role as a Human Resources Specialist at GMRI from 2003 to 2006.

Heather Davenport completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology, from Longwood University in the period between 1993 and 1997. Heather then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Liberty University, which they successfully finished in 2013.
