Kristen Babovec

Kristen comes to Cariloop with more than 27 years of experience in Education. She has a passion for literacy and has taught everything from pre-kindergarten, first grade, fourth grade, Literacy Specialist, and English Second Language. She’s also worked as a middle school literacy coach, and Educational Support Specialist, an Assistant Principal, and an Educational Consultant.

While Kristen was teaching, she says she saw a need for teachers, as they tried to help struggling readers and writers. She then started teaching as a professor to help teach pre-service teachers and began to empower and equip them with the tools and knowledge to help students with literacy before entering the field.

Kristen’s favorite part about teaching is that she’s able to help make a difference in both teachers' and students’ lives. Now as a Care Coach, she’s able to help families and their kids succeed the best they can.
