Andreas Tsukada

Andreas S. Tsukada joined Caris Life Sciences in September 2021 as Senior Vice President, President of Japanese Operations and Head of International. In this role, he leads the expansion and global management of Caris’ growing international presence, which also includes oversight of operations, market development and regulatory, biopharma partnerships and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Caris, Mr. Tsukada led the establishment of Guardant Health Japan and was responsible for all functions across commercial, regulatory and lab operations. With over 20 years in oncology and diagnostics across the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific, Mr. Tsukada also has experience with Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he directed Clinical NGS partnerships for CDx, commercialization and IVD. He had P&L responsibility across more than a dozen high profile programs. Before that, Mr. Tsukada worked for Merck Biopharma in Japan leading the Oncology Business Unit.

Mr. Tsukada received his BA in Biology from University of York, England, and earned his MBA from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
