Kelsey Poorman has a strong background in science and research, with experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at UNC Asheville and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University. Kelsey went on to work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic before transitioning to Caris Life Sciences, where Kelsey has held various positions including Molecular Science Liaison, Field Manager, Director, and Area Vice President. Kelsey holds a PhD in Comparative Biomedical Sciences from North Carolina State University and a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
