Michelle Kassner is an experienced research scientist with a strong background in molecular and cellular biology. Currently serving as an Associate Research Scientist II at Caris Life Sciences since December 2015, Kassner previously held multiple roles at TGen, including Associate Research Scientist I. Research expertise encompasses identifying novel therapeutic drug targets and understanding genetic factors in disease progression and drug responses through siRNA and compound screening. Earlier experiences include a research assistant position at The University of Arizona, focusing on mRNA trafficking in early embryonic development, and summer internships at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, where Kassner investigated cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibition effects in breast cancer and melanoma cell lines. Kassner holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona.
