Sachin Deshmukh

Sachin Deshmukh, PhD, is a distinguished scientist specializing in clinical and translational research in oncology. Currently serving at Caris Life Sciences since May 2022, Sachin leads cancer research projects that utilize comprehensive molecular data and clinical outcomes to advance precision oncology. Prior to this role, Sachin worked at the University of South Alabama from July 2018 to April 2022, focusing on clinically relevant research in cancer biology and immunology, along with data analytics and visualization. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at University of South Alabama Health from April 2014 to June 2018, where Sachin studied the role of epigenetic regulators and associated cytokines in breast cancer progression. Sachin earned a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Immunology from the National Institute of Immunology in March 2014.
