Sean Bailey

Sean Bailey, PhD, PMP, currently serves as the Alliance Manager for Biopharma Business Development at Caris Life Sciences, where responsibilities include operationalizing and implementing Caris Biopharma Solutions to enhance partnerships. Previously, Sean worked as a Program Manager at Tune Therapeutics, focusing on epigenetic modulating gene therapies, and as a Project Leader at Duke University School of Medicine, where the alignment of cross-functional teams and strategy execution for research initiatives was emphasized. Sean also held the position of Program Director for Preclinical Oncology at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, leading a team in preclinical oncology projects while managing program strategy and stakeholder relations. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA investigating metabolic inhibitors in non-small cell lung cancer and a role as Research Associate II at PPD. Sean holds a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from UNC School of Medicine and dual degrees in Zoology and Anthropology from North Carolina State University.
