Elena Petrossian

Elena Petrossian has worked in the accounting and finance industry since 2005. Elena began their career at Ernst & Young (EY) as a Senior Auditor, where they were responsible for financial audits of Fortune 500 companies, reviewed internal control procedures and participated in walkthroughs. Elena also prepared and reviewed federal and multi-state returns for partnerships and corporate clients. In 2008, they moved to Grant Thornton LLP as a Senior Auditor, where they audited Fortune 500 companies and was involved as a senior manager in financial and tax audits, primarily in the healthcare industry. In 2012, Elena joined ICB, Inc. as an Accounting and Finance Manager, where they coordinated all controllership activities and day-to-day accounting operations and reporting cycles related to e-commerce retail business. Elena also identified, isolated, and reconciled errors and made recommendations to the CEO for process improvements. In the same year, they joined Forge Intellectual Capital as a Finance and Accounting Consultant, where they coordinated all financial and accounting tasks and reporting for venture capital organization and affiliated business startups. Elena then moved to Delavau Pharmaceutical Partners in 2016 as a Controller ~ Accounting and Finance, where they were responsible for the month end letter reflecting KPIs, Consolidated Financial Statements and the notes. Elena also developed and was responsible for weekly/monthly reports on company’s efficiency metrics, sales bookings and inventory reconciliations. Currently, Elena is working as a Financial Controller at Carisma Therapeutics since 2019.

Elena Petrossian attended Cleveland State University from 2003 to 2005, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting/International Business.
