Michael Lynch has a diverse work experience in the biomedical field. Michael began their career at Performance, Inc as a Mechanic from 2011 to 2013. Michael then joined Eli Lilly and Company as a Research Associate from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on enzyme research and development. After that, they worked at NOVAVAX INC as a Formulation Development Associate in 2016, participating in vaccine research and development. Michael continued their work in the pharmaceutical industry at US Pharmacopeia as a Dietary Supplements Analyst from 2017 to 2017. At Merck, they served as a Process Development Scientist in 2017 before transitioning to WuXi Advanced Therapies in 2018, where they held the role of Process Development Scientist until 2021. Currently, they are a Senior Process Development Scientist at Carisma Therapeutics. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in various areas such as large-scale vector production, cell line development, assay development, and formulation evaluation.
Michael Lynch began their education at the Biotechnology Research Academy, where they earned a Certificate in Biotechnology between 2007 and 2009. Following this, they attended the University of Maryland from 2011 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry.
