Sherly Mardiana

Sherly Mardiana has a diverse work experience, starting with a Teaching Assistant position at the University of Melbourne in 2015. Sherly then moved on to a PhD student role at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in the same year. In 2019, they were employed as a Post-doctoral Scientist at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Carisma Therapeutics since 2022.

Sherly Mardiana completed their Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne in 2011-2013, majoring in Immunology and Pathology. Sherly then went on to complete a Bachelor of Biomedicine (with Honours) in 2014, with a focus on Cancer Immunotherapy. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cancer Immunotherapy and Immune Innovation from the University of Melbourne in 2015-2018.
