Clewin Griffith has worked in the software engineering industry since 2000. In 2000, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Imperial College London, where they built cross-platform 3D graphical software in C++ to aid the construction of 3D finite-element meshes from MRI images. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer at Flomerics, where they built a fast anisotropic Octree mesh generator prototype in Python and C++ and a prototype hybrid structured/unstructured linear solver. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where they implemented a FX Position keeping and risk management service to replace Legagy 2/3 tier DB-based position keeper using KDB. From 2013 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at FICO, where they were responsible for infrastructure transformation, migration and modernization of legacy systems into AWS microservices, building a Payment Portal with Angular/Typescript frontend and Spring Boot Rest API backend, and an EDoc document signing and sharing system. Clewin was also a long-time advocate of Behaviour Driven Development tests for UI and backend components with Cucumber + Protractor/Cypress. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Caristo Diagnostics.
Clewin Griffith has obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Imperial College London between 1996 and 2000. Clewin also has a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera obtained in October 2021.
