Ebaa Albrihi has a diverse range of work experience, primarily focused on the humanitarian and development sectors. Ebaa has worked with various organizations such as Caritas Schweiz, Syrian Arab Red Crescent, COOPI - Cooperazione Internazionale, and Syrian Telecom.
At Caritas Schweiz, Ebaa held multiple roles within the Cash Assistance in Re-Emerging Markets in Syria (CARMA) project. Ebaa started as a Syria Programme Officer in March 2020, where they were responsible for project set-up and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, as well as coordination and partnership management. Ebaa then progressed to become the Syria Project Coordinator in January 2021, where they continued their work in project management and added responsibilities in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning. In January 2022, they advanced to the position of Deputy Chief of Party/Senior Project Manager/CARMA Consortium/Cash Technical Focal Point, where they played a crucial role in project setup, management, and monitoring and evaluation.
Prior to their work at Caritas Schweiz, Ebaa dedicated their time as a volunteer at the Syrian Arab Red Crescent. Ebaa was involved in various activities, including registration, evaluation, monitoring, relief material distribution, and crisis response. Additionally, Ebaa served as a Livelihood Project Assistance, where they collaborated with project officers and community leaders to develop action plans and identify livelihood opportunities for participants based on their desires and environment.
At COOPI - Cooperazione Internazionale, Ebaa had several roles. Ebaa started as a Field Officer for Collective Kitchen, responsible for monitoring and evaluation and providing data analysis and IT support. Ebaa then transitioned to become a MEAL Officer for Collective Kitchens and Livelihoods grants, where they conducted monitoring, supported project evaluations, and performed data analysis and IT support. Ebaa's final role at COOPI was as an Assistant Project Manager, working closely with the Project Manager to plan and monitor activities in compliance with project work plans and donor requirements.
Prior to their work in the humanitarian sector, Ebaa gained technical experience as a Technical Team Member at Syrian Telecom. Ebaa'sresponsibilities included telephone center maintenance, server maintenance, and internet maintenance.
Overall, Ebaa has demonstrated their versatility and expertise in project management, monitoring and evaluation, coordination, partnership management, technological support, and crisis response throughout their various work experiences.
Ebaa Albrihi pursued their education in a chronological manner. Ebaa began their educational journey at the Syrian Virtual University SVU in 2012, where they obtained an Arabic Higher National Diploma in Information Technology, completing the program in 2014. Ebaa then continued their studies at the same university, earning a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from 2015 to 2018. Following that, Ebaa Albrihi further enhanced their knowledge by pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration at the Syrian Virtual University SVU from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their academic achievements, Ebaa Albrihi also obtained a certification in "CVA - The Fundamentals" from The Cash Learning Partnership in September 2020.
