Sarah Estermann

Sarah Estermann has extensive experience in migration and refugee-related roles, currently serving as Knowledge Manager and Senior Advisor Migration at Caritas Schweiz since April 2020. Previously, Sarah held positions such as Associate Research and Information Officer at UNHCR, Refugee Status Determination Legal Advisor at St. Andrew's Refugee Services, and Country of Origin Researcher at Schweizerische Flüchtlingshilfe. Additional roles include Transcript Writer of Asylum Hearings at the State Secretariat for Migration in Switzerland, and International Human Rights Observer with Peace Watch Switzerland. Sarah's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Legal Studies from Université de Fribourg and a Master of Arts in Anthropology and Gender Studies from the University of Bern, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from both the University of Bern and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
