Anthony Kendall

Commissioner at Central Arkansas Water

Anthony Kendall, Chair for Central Arkansas Water Board of Commissioners, retired as Vice President of Human Resources for Baptist Health in Arkansas. He served as CAW Board Chair during the development of the Lake Maumelle Watershed Management Plan, a $1.2 million study and planning process with the goal of ensuring the long-term viability of the lake as a drinking water supply through effective watershed management.

In addition to serving on the CAW Board, Commissioner Kendall has been involved in local business and civic affairs for many years. His business background includes 23 years in Manufacturing Management with Johnson & Johnson and 3 years as vice president of manufacturing for the Polymer Group. He has been with the Baptist Health system since 1998.

He has served as president of the North Little Rock Boys & Girls Clubs of America Board of Directors and chairman of the North Little Rock Parks & Recreation Commission. He also is a past member of the Baptist Memorial Medical Center Community Advisory Board and the Arkansas Academy of Industrial Engineers Board. He is a former member of the Camden, Arkansas, City Zoning Commission and is a member and past lay leader for the United Methodist Church Board of Stewards.

Commissioner Kendall graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a degree in industrial engineering. His initial appointment to the CAW Board was in 2004 to fulfill three years of the unexpired term of a retiring commissioner. Commissioner Kendall is a North Little Rock representative on the CAW Board.
