Brian Cahill currently serves as the Chief of the Department of Soldier Medicine and Deputy Commander for Inpatient Services at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center since July 2022. Concurrently, Brian holds the position of Chief Health Informatics Officer at the same medical center since September 2019. Prior to these roles, Brian was the Chief of the Patient Administration Division at the United States Army Medical Department from July 2018 to September 2019. Brian also has experience as a graduate student at Duke University School of Nursing from 2016 to 2018, where Brian earned a master's degree in Clinical Informatics. Earlier educational achievements include a master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Touro University Worldwide in 2008 and a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Portland in 2003.
