Haroon Samar

Haroon Samar currently serves as the Chief of the Department of Family & Community Medicine at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Uniformed Services University. With extensive experience in military medicine, Haroon Samar has held various roles, including Staff Physician at Madigan Army Medical Center and Brigade Surgeon for the 4th Infantry Division. Haroon Samar's leadership capabilities were further honed through participation in a prestigious Leader & Faculty Development Fellowship. Additionally, Haroon Samar has contributed to medical education as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Washington and has a robust academic background, holding an MD, MBA with a healthcare management emphasis, MPH in public health, and a BA in biology.
