Dr. Romeo Ayemele Djeujo

Dr. Romeo Ayemele Djeujo has extensive work experience in the field of corporate business information security and governance. Dr. Romeo is currently the Head of Corporate Business Information Security at ZEISS Group, where they are responsible for enabling resources and establishing processes to support secure digital transformation. Prior to this role, they served as the Sr. Corporate Security Manager at ZEISS Group, leading global business information security efforts.

Dr. Djeujo also has experience in enterprise cloud and IoT security, having worked as the Corporate Security Manager at ZEISS Group. Dr. Romeo has a strong background in research, having held positions as a Research Associate at the University of Siegen and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Arizona. Dr. Djeujo has also been involved in industry leadership as a member of the Manufacturing Industry Leadership Council at the Industrial Internet Consortium.

Before their research and leadership roles, Dr. Djeujo worked as a Network Engineer at TEG Computers Technologies Sarl and Saconets SA. Dr. Romeo holds a B.Sc. degree in Network Engineering and has expertise in the field of information security architecture.

Dr. Romeo Ayemele Djeujo has a diverse educational background. Dr. Romeo obtained their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering- Telecommunication from the Universität Siegen. Dr. Romeo further pursued their academic journey and completed their Doctorate in Ingenieurwissenschaften (Dr.-Ing) specializing in applied cryptography, information security, and compressive sensing. Dr. Djeujo also attended various certification programs and executive education programs to enhance their knowledge and skills. This includes programs from Harvard University, Fachhochschule des BFI Wien, and the International Business Management Institute. Dr. Romeo also received certifications in areas such as leading with agility, body language for authentic leadership, digital strategy, and leading remote projects and virtual teams. Additionally, they have obtained certifications related to information security, including CISSP and ISO/IEC 27001 lead implementer.
