Matthias Schaller

Matthias Schaller serves as the Head of Compensation at ZEISS Group since January 2019, bringing extensive experience in compensation strategy and organizational management. Previously, Matthias held the position of Senior Director of Compensation & Organization at Carl Zeiss Inc. from February 2017 to December 2018, and was the Director - Head of Compensation & Organization at ZEISS Group from May 2010 to January 2018, where responsibilities included developing and implementing global compensation policies and managing job evaluations across multiple countries. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Corporate Compensation & Benefits at Daimler Northeast Asia Ltd. and various internships with Daimler and Robert Bosch GmbH, focusing on HR processes and expatriate management. Matthias holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt from Nürtingen-Geislingen University and an Industriekaufmann degree from DaimlerChrysler AG.
